Kentucky-Alpha’s own Dr. Merl Baker will soon be awarded the esteemed Distinguished Alumnus Award by Tau Beta Pi at the National Convention in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, on October 9th, 2010.  (see page 7)

Kentucky-Alpha’s former two-time president Kassy Lum has just been officially installed as the new District 6 Director, replacing Dr. Christy Gearheart of Kentucky-Beta. She will now oversee all of Kentucky’s chapters (KY-A, KY-B, KY-G) and two of Tennessee’s (TN-A, TN-B). Other District 6 Directors are Dee Ann Stirm and Ellen Styles. Together, they three cover all chapters in Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama. (see page 9)
